DAY TOURS AND ONE NIGHT OUT TOURS

NEGOMBO CITY TOUR PACKAGE

  • Negombo is located at the northern end of a lagoon, renowned for its lobsters, crabs, and prawns. Visit the fish market and its surroundings. Watch fishing boats arrive and unload their catch of the day. Visit the dry fish market and drying fields and St. Mary’s Church. We’ll conclude your day trip with a boat tour of the Dutch Canal and the lagoon.

KANDY DAY TOUR PACKAGE

  • Leave for Kandy from Negombo. En route visit Pineapple & Rubber plantations and the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage; a place providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild. On the way to Kandy, we’ll visit a herb and spice garden. In Kandy, we’ll visit the Temple of the Tooth. This is the country’s most important religious shrine, where the sacred tooth of Lord Buddha is kept inside a magnificent temple. After a city tour, we’ll return to Negombo.

SIGIRIYA DAY TOUR PACKAGE

  • Climb the famous rock fortress of Sigiriya which is an astonishing feat of engineering and construction. The “Lion Platform“, the Mirror Wall, the Sigiriya Damsels, the water gardens and the fantastic views are some of the highlights of Sigiriya.  En route visits the magnificent Dambulla Cave temple, which contains the most outstanding collection of Buddha images in Sri Lanka. Both the walls and ceilings are covered with paintings depicting images of Lord Buddha’s different reincarnations. Back to Negombo

GALLE DAY TOUR PACKAGE

  • Experience the charms of Galle and Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. On the way visit the turtle hatchery, which started in 1988 to protect Sri Lankan turtles from extinction. We’ll go and see the famous Stilt Fishermen and explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, where 17th-century ramparts enclose colonial buildings. We’ll also have time to spend a few hours on the famous Unawatuna or Hikkaduwa beaches before heading back to Negombo.

ADVENTURE TOUR PACKAGE

  • An adventurous day filled with white water rafting and/ or canyoning in Kithulgala. You’ll also be able to visit the famous film location of  “The Bridge on the River Kwai” before returning to Negombo.

KANDY – SIGIRIYA ONE NIGHT OUT TOUR PACKAGE

  • Start in the morning after your breakfast, leave for Kandy. En route visit Pineapple & Rubber plantations and the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage; a place providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild. On the way to Kandy, we’ll visit a herb and spice garden. In Kandy, we’ll visit the Temple of the Tooth. This is the country’s most important religious shrine, where the sacred tooth of Lord Buddha is kept inside a magnificent temple. In the late afternoon enjoy a typical Kandyan dance and drumming performance (a Sri Lankan iconic performing art) complete with performers wearing traditional costumes and fire walks. Overnight stay in Kandy.The next day we’ll visit a Hindu temple in Mathale, as well as the Dambulla Cave temple, which contains the most outstanding collection of Buddha sculptures as well as wall and ceiling paintings (one of the highlights of the cultural triangle). After your cave temple visit, you can climb the famous Rock Fortress of Sigiriya, which is an astonishing feat of engineering and construction. We’ll end this activity-packed day with a Safari in Minneriya National Park. Afterward, we will return to Negombo.

KANDY – HILL COUNTRY ONE NIGHT OUT TOUR PACKAGE

  • Starting in the morning after your b/fast, we’ll leave for Kandy. En route visit Pineapple & Rubber plantations and the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage; a place providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild. On the way to Kandy, we’ll visit a herb and spice garden. In Kandy, we’ll visit the Temple of the Tooth. This is the country’s most important religious shrine, where the sacred tooth of Lord Buddha is kept inside a magnificent temple. In the late afternoon enjoy a typical Kandyan dance and drumming performance (a Sri Lankan iconic performing art) complete with performers wearing traditional costumes and fire walks. Overnight stay in Kandy.The next day we’ll drive to N’Eliya (which means “Little England“), a breathtaking journey through narrow passes, through tea plantations and over gushing streams to the Hill Country. En route visit a Tea factory to see the tea manufacturing process and of course to try and enjoy the original ‘unblended ‘ high grown tea. On our way, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to see cascading waterfalls.
